Nail Art inspired by fashion

I grew up with fashion (my mother, and both grandmothers are seamstresses) and for as I long as I can remember, I always get inspiration from either clothing designs or fabrics. A while ago I saw a photo on Facebook and I decided to put the dress on my nails.

I have no idea where the dresses come from. I did a google image search, and I was met with a whole bunch of pinterest, weheartit, blog posts, and more facebook links where those dresses are shown; and none of them mentions anything about a designer, or even a brand. So unfortunately I cannot credit the designer, the brand, or the photographer. For your reference, here's the dresses in a bit bigger size than the first one.

What I loved about them was their simplicity. I like dresses that are simple, yet elegant. And those definitely fall into that category for me.

Anyway, here's a few photos of my nails which were inspired by those dresses.

These are the polishes I used:

Base colors:
Ultimate Nudes 020 Cotton Candy At Eiffel Tower from Catrice
For the accent nail - 030 Meet Me At Coral Island from Catrice

Top coat: 3in1 mat top coat by Kiko

I let those dry and then I painted a bit less than half of my nails with Diamond Strength No Chip Nail Polish #220 Crystal Beading by Sally Hansen. Once this was dry I added black striping tape over it.

I hope you liked this design. I have a few other fashion inspired nail art planned for the future as well. I'm looking forward to share those with you!

Until next time!
